Questions
What is PicUp?
PicUp is a free image enlarger that runs locally in your browser. It supports JPG, PNG, and WebP, and images are never uploaded. Open pic.chatbat.cn to start. No sign-in required.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. PicUp processes photos in your browser. You do not need an account, and neither the original nor the result is uploaded.
What is PicUp good for?
It is suited to private photos, design drafts, product images, and screenshots. ID photos, ecommerce shots, and anime line art can also be enlarged locally.
How do I enlarge a photo?
Choose, drop, or paste a photo, pick a scale from 2x to 6x, then start. When it finishes, drag the line to compare and download the original or the new photo.
Which formats and scales are supported?
JPG, PNG, and WebP are supported. You can choose 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 6x. 2x is the default. Output can be saved as PNG, JPG, or WebP.
How does PicUp improve clarity?
It prefers a Real-ESRGAN super-resolution model on your local GPU or CPU. If that is unavailable, it falls back to a faster enlarge-and-sharpen method. Photos are not uploaded.
Can large images fail?
When output is near or above about 16 megapixels, the browser may slow down or run out of memory. Try 2x first, or crop before enlarging. Failures are usually a damaged file, an unsupported format, or low memory.
